Over the last twelve years, Free Flight Academy have become specialists at providing quality long haul trips catered to the right level of pilot for each location. We last ran this trip in 2017 and now it feels like the right time to return. Most of our flying will be in Iquique, so to make life simple we have booked The Holiday Inn Express as our accommodation. Located right on the beach it means you can land, pack up and walk back back to your accommodation whenever you like.
We will also aim to fly at a location in the Atacama, near a small town called Pisaqua. Last time I promoted the fact it had hardly rained in the Atacama dessert for almost 500 years......but then it actaully rained whilst we were there! So this time we will keep quiet on that front and just say it is highly likely we will have good flying conditions when we head to the Atacama :)
The group size will be strictly capped at ten pilots and accommodation is based on two sharing although single rooms will be available with a single room supplement.

Flights
We anticipate most of you will need to look for return flights to Santiago (SCL) and then get an internal return flight to Iquique (IQQ). The flight options from the UK, Europe and America are numerous with a wide variety of arrival and departure times so this tour does not include a free airport transfer However The Holiday Inn offers an airport shuttle that we can assist you to arrange. They will just require your flight number, arrival time and contact number the day before arrival. The cost of a transfer using the Holiday Inn Airport shuttle is $27.000 (around £24)
Single room supplement
We pride oursleves on always offering a hig standard of accommodation and this trip is no different. However because we are based in Iquique that accommodation does come at a cost. If you would like a single room the additional cost per night is £35 (£490 in total). We also require an even number of people to request a single room. Rooms will be allocated on a first come first serve basis, so please let us know as soon as you can if you would like to request a single room.
